Micro-Pak products are designed for both ease of use as well as low cost and are widely used by major brands, retailers and wholesalers around the globe. Micro-Pak stickers and Micro-Pak PE sheets are used in more than one billion products annually. Micro-Pak products are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the US and are REACH pre-registered in the EU. We are presently also registering our products under the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) and will be fully compliant within the transition period for treated articles. Micro-Pak has an active sustainability program and has achieved Cradle to Cradle Silver certification. Micro-Pak is headquarted in Hong Kong with offices in Portland, Oregon, New York, Holland, the United Kingdom and China. Distribution of Micro-Pak products is carried out through a network of more than thirty authorized distributors around the world.
HISTORY
Micro-Pak was established in 1998 and has steadily grown to be the leading supplier of anti-microbial packaging materials for the consumer goods industry. From a staff of two in one small office Micro-Pak now employs more than one hundred individuals in eight countries and is supported by an international network of more than thirty authorized distributors. Micro-Pak now manufactures and distributes more than three million stickers and sheets per day.
MISSION AND VALUES
The Micro-Pak mission is to educate, train and assist manufacturers and buyers of consumer goods on the simplest, lowest cost and least environmentally invasive methods for preventing mold. We emphasize compliance with all regulatory issues and endeavor to go beyond our customers’ requirements so to ensure the safest possible products. Micro-Pak supports a number of philanthropic causes and welcomes suggestions for additional participation.
DEDICATED TO REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Micro-Pak recognizes the importance of regulatory compliance and considers this an integral part of customer service. Rather than wait for our customers to tell us of the latest regulation we keep in touch with various labs, testing institutes, NGOs and legal authorities to understand what are the latest regulatory issues and then take the necessary action. In this regard, in addition to complying with customers specific requirements, Micro-Pak products are EPA registered, Proposition 65 compliant, REACH pre-registered and in process for registration under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Martin Berman is the founder and Managing Director of Micro-Pak Ltd. Mr. Berman was born in Boston and received a B.A. from Connecticut College in Asian Studies and Chinese Language. After graduation Mr. Berman relocated to Asia and has been stationed in Taiwan, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Indonesia and Italy. Mr. Berman has been involved in consumer goods manufacturing and exporting his entire career and has a detailed understanding of production issues and the challenges faced by both the manufacturer as well as the buyer.
